‘Hexagonal’ – 8.00pm, 15th November 2018, The Venue @ DMU, Western Boulevard
Hexagonal formed in 2016 to play the joyous township influenced jazz of the late great South African pianist Bheki Mseleku with whom both John Donaldson and Simon Thorpe toured about a decade ago.
In addition to Bheki's compositions the group will be playing pieces by McCoy Tyner as well as their own originals, while staying close to the spirit of Bheki's music.
