Formed in May 2012, The Ruby Doos were brought together by their mutual love of great songs and classic close harmony singing. We are a four piece band, featuring lead/harmony vocalists Sarah Rawson and Annie Smith accompanied by Steve Burton on acoustic guitar, banjo and vocals, and Neil Cadwallader on bass, mandolin, guitar and vocals. We play contemporary and classic songs with a retro twist, ranging from early bluegrass through 50s harmony swing, heartbreak ballads and Brill Building hits to present day songwriter gems. Our musical influences are wide and varied, but we all love The Secret Sisters, Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton and The Dixie Chicks, among very many others
